Blow drying my thick long hair is a 55-minute high intensity workout. Even without CMT, or Charcot Marie Tooth Disorder (read my story here), it would tire ones arms out. That’s why I’m so glad I found this hair dryer stand that keeps my hands free to work on my locks! I didn’t realize how much of a struggle it was until I saw this solution! A hair dryer stand for disabled or injured hands is such a great idea that I had to tell you about it.
It is nearly impossible for me to get a brush through my hair while holding a heavy blow dryer in my weak, tissue wasted hands. But now, with this stand, I am able to try all sorts of styles like straightening my hair. With this hands free dryer and the Brush Crush tool you would think I paid a boat load at the salon. Check out my article on how to straighten your hair with hand weakness to learn more about that! It will change your life! Or at least your hairstyle.
This hand free dryer stand has been a lifesaver for me, and I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of it before. In fact, when I saw this flexible neck blow dryer counter stand on Amazon, I had one of those, “Why didn’t I think of this?” moments. I couldn’t wait for it to get delivered!
Don’t get me wrong. I still opt for the, last all week $30 salon blow-dry, but this tool is a great cost-saving option that has provided me with a lot more flexibility and a lot less frustration!

Once you have your hair dry, what’s next? I like to mix it up and try different styles. If you are like me, and like to straighten your hair, that involves even more hand strength. You’ll appreciate that hack for straightening your hair I mentioned above.
There are so many little tricks we can do to put our best self forward.
