I cried when I saw this website. I’m 73 years old, and you would think looks and fashion wouldn’t matter for me, but it does. I’ve been wearing Asics running shoes with arch supports for years, but only recently started wearing an AFO, and the Asics are great with it. I also bought some Easy spirit walking shoes. These all work because of removable insoles. My AFO has a metal plate under the foot, and I have a shoe orthotic on top of it in my shoe. I’m wondering how you do with with sandals. Thank you for providing this website.
Hi Diane, I’m so glad you found the website and me. Be sure to join our Facebook page as well as we give a lot of information there as well. You can use the search button on the homepage to search sandals and be sure to read this post below as it tells you how I handled the footplate. Feel free to email me directly if you ever have any questions or need help finding shoes. Lainie
